Moving to Cambodia

cjbjmj

Hi

I am recently widowed.  My husband & I had planned a trip to Cambodia as part of our quest to find our retirement home.  I am going to take that trip and have a couple of questions.

Firstly should I apply for a visa on line or get it at the airport?
Secondly is there an arrival tax?
Thirdly official sites say that you need US dollars.  Is this true or can I just use ATMs to get money.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes you can just apply for e Visa on arrival, also yes they take us $ but they must be very new no tears in the bills, try to bring lots of ones! ATMs yes remember to contact your bank , it around 8-10$ per with draw, no tax on arrival , good luck on your stay , it's a beautiful country ,but as you will read on this site it's the Khmer people that make Cambodia great. Good luck !
