Hi,

As an expat living in the USA, what would you advise the ones about to pack to bring along?

What are the items you can easily find in the USA? On the other hand, what is less common or quite expensive?

Share with us what you would recommend to bring in one聮s suitcase or container when moving to the USA.

Hi Christine,

What you need to bring with you to the US depends on which country you are coming from and where you plan to live once you get to the US. If you plan to prepare your own meals and you are accustomed to certain type of spices, then bring your own, although most of these spices are sold in the larger stores,聽 if you are in a less popular area you may not find your favorite items. Almost everything is available here , so don't burden yourself聽 with stuff that you may never use anyway.

For men bring clothes for each seasons, a laptop, wardrobe & grooming accessories, TSB port (with an updated resume), walking shoes and athletic gear, personal care (axe bodyspray's a must), and a sense of optimism and should be all set. :-)

nothing only your credentials and security paper , You can buy new cloths from out-lets with cheapest price ever in the World , You are in America the country which a lot of people dream of to reside , I Disagree that somebody bring spices and food from their original country since these spices will finish soon So, Try to adapt new type of food Then, Why you immigrate to try something different .
