Hello. Im planing to move ankara for a job in a pharma company and im planing to live there with my wife (non working) and a 3 years baby. Please tell me the cost of living including house rent transport school fees for kids daily expensives. Also please let me know the income taxes.

I've lived in ankara for 5 years. Cost of living depends on many things, but for a moderate level it is roughly 3000 TL/month (1500 US$) for a small family.

Cost of living in Ankara is not bad compared to istanbul.
For rent you need to consider at least 500 $ plus utilities (the biggest share is for heating).
Depending on the area you wish to accomodate it may go up to even over 2000 $.
Cars are expensive here...and the fuel as well.
Almost 2.5 $/lt.
Underground is limited.
Public transport is done mostly by bus.
I guess the ticket is cheaper compared to most of the EU countries.
