Living costs in Turkey would most likely depend on where you live. Large cities like Istanbul would have more costs like transportation for getting around. Plus home rents can vary from district to district. Food would be another factor ofcourse.

Life would get on easier in the warmer areas of Turkey like Antalya on the south, where food and rentals could be cheaper compared.
