Leave current company on business visa and work on new one

abdul rafay

I am in Saudia Arabia on a business visa (multi-visit) and the business visa is valid for the next 6 months and visa is sponsored by my current company. I got the opportunity from another company. And the new company is saying that I can leave my current company and work in a new company on the same visa for the next six months then they issue me a work visa.

Please confirm that can I work with the new company on the visa sponsored by the current company. Is it possible? or when I leave my current company my visa gets cancelled by my current company?

Hello,  I have accepted contract on Qiwa and my sponsor have approved it. But now I am not willing to join my new employer. Is it possible for new employee to reject further proceedings. If he can cancelled where I will fall.  Back to previous sponsor or not?  Is it possible to cancel for employeer?

Please urgent

@abdul rafay:  You are NOT an employee.  It is illegal to work on a business visa.  You can leave the company but be aware that they can file a report against you for working without an Iqama.

engrfaisalriaz2020:  First, don't hijack a thread that is for another question, create a new one in that situation.   Secondly, as far as I know, if old employer approved, the request has already gone to new employer.  They would have to cancel it.   If cancelled, your Iqama sponsorship remains the same.

No. Business visa does not permit to work. You cannot reside on this visa on a long-term basis and can’t take up permanent employment. A Saudi business visa allows you only to conduct limited business transactions with your Saudi sponsor. If you need to work in Saudi Arabia, you will need a work visa, also known as an employment visa.
