Hi All,

We are in the process of moving to Kuwait, my wife is already out there and getting us set up. We have arranged our daughter to attend TES and are aware that they have some extra curricular activities.

We are both working parents and in the UK had a lovely au pair to look after our daughter outside if school hours.

Can anyone help/advise if there are any agencies in Kuwait that will help us set up a similar arrangement?

great choice with TES, not sure i follow what ur saying tho - had a lovely au pair? whats an au pair?

u mean nanny?

yes and au pair is a nanny, but she lived in with us!

well yes, it is possible to do so in Kuwait (Sorry not familiar with the term au pair, and I went to TES!)

aha; got it A young foreigner who lives with a family in return for doing light housework

your best bet is EEK! magazine, go to , subscribe and read thru the classifieds, u will find testimonials from expats that are leaving Kuwait and trying to find employment for their au pair.

they're called maids here mostly; au pair might confuse a few folks. but yes, the service is available in Kuwait, there are staffing agencies but it is best to go with someone vouched for, the hired help scene in Kuwait is a bit of a fiasco.

you can also publish an ad in the classifieds right here, however you would need to have a sit-down interview with whomever approaches you, afterall, you are talking about your child's safety here.
