Hi! I have a RO (Reverse Osmosis) system installed by landlord under the kitchen sink. there is a sticker on it that says "CCK Reverse Osmosis Water System". it is made in Taiwan. there is no tel no. to where i can reach a local distributor.Â
Its been a few months and the 3 filters are all brownish. Does anyone knows where can i buy replacement filters that match this? i know ACE has them but there are so many sizes and all looked different from mine....
Hi Jinshui - they should unscrew easily so you can take them with you - we bought ours from Khalda - but........... I don't trust them unless they have a 5 stage filtration system with a UV filter, thats me personally so we drink bottled water only now.
Hi Brit in Jordan, May i ask where in Khalda did you buy your refill? i was told by someone that water that passed through the filtration process is actually safer to drink than bottled water - if you know how water is being bottled here.
we use the filtered water for cooking and rinsing veges/fruits etc.
Hi Jinshui - I am not sure what the street names is but if you come along Mecca Street past the flyover to 7th Circle and you will be heading toward Mecca Mall (on your right) - before the Mall - there is right hand turn which takes you into Khalda - about half way up this street are many plumbing merchants and some water filtration installers - it was a few years ago when we got ours, but I am sure you will find somebody in this area who sells yours. There is approx 2 km of shops and merchants and when we are looking for something we go shop to shop - normally somebody will say hang on a minute and come back with who has it or even fetch if for you.
Yes you are right the bottled water here is not brilliant but we now buy it in 4 litre containers from Miles and it comes in from Dubai - it tastes superb - worth carrying it home each week! This is a secret btw ;-)
Brit in Dubai, thanks. i think i know where you mean. i just was there last week trying to get a underground water hose (with "bubbles") for my flowers in the ground - no success.
i will try again.
agree. we moved from dubai just few months ago. until we came to Jordan, we were picking on how Dubai was costly etc. now, we wish we can shop in dubai. ironic how things are all relative.
