Italian visa for medical care for Egyptian citizen

You might say it is impossible but my best friend is suffering wild backpain and this has been going on for months now. Specialists from Cairo have given opposite indications so I intend to take him to the surgeon that has done miracles for my spine under difficult circumstances. He works in Boologna. I habe been living for more than 30 years in Italy before spending long periods in Dahab. However, my passport is German.

can anyone tell me how to proceed to get a medical visa in the least possible time, even if there are extra charges to pay

@Marti888 I am nor sure about Italy but you need a consultant to help you for the UK and the Egyptian government to sponsor or pay from what I read.

You should go onto the Italian consultant/ government site聽 and it should give you details of what聽 you need to do.
