Electrical Contact solution

maddygill

Hey I recently posted about my broken DSLR but I have recently found out that it's a very common problem with this make of camera and I just need some electrical contact solution to fix it. Does anyone know where I can buy some?

Thanks

I have a can of it sitting in my office. I imported a case lot of it as it is hard to find in VN.

Want a shot? (You will need a Q-tip, too.)

Do you use anti-fungal wipes on your lenses? VN has an magnificent array of microbes to give your camera hell.

Hey Jaitch,
that would be amazing if I could borrow a shot of it. Apparently there's a way to do it without taking the camera apart that I will try first, that way won't require a q-tip.

Also I never even thought about using anti-fungal wipes on my lenses, I've been here a year already so I'm sure a lot of damage has been done.

thanks for all the help!

You will need the Q-tip to remove the surplus spray.

We shall communicate.

Around the Military Markets(Dan Sinh Market), area mate. You should be able to find what you're looking for:

The web site referenced said:
This has led some to make fake items, and a number of the war relics like the Zippo lighters are often fake.

My experience is that Cho Dan Sinh is way overpriced, ever higher for Foreigners.

Most of the "war / military surplus" might even be as much as month old. Most is made in TP HCM. The guy in the far corner nearest the East-West Highway makes all his "US Army" kit bags right there at his stand.

Only one vendor sells industrial chemicals and then mainly glues.
