I believe you have to find an immigration lawyer to facilitate your srrvisa. You just have to follow procedure.

No, l have DIY for Srrvisa.

Hire one of the helpers that do this as a business.  They can guide you through the entire process.  There is no cost to you since the PRA pays their fee.  Call  PRA and get the list of approved people to help you through the process.

Only my understanding from research lihu1130 as I will go down the SRRV path also.

Once you apply with the correct paperwork and fees the PRA will hold your passport for the 3 to 4 weeks it takes to process which means you cannot leave the country but can travel internally.
I'm sure if I am wrong others will chime in, good luck with your visa application.

Cheers, Steve.

Have you talked to the PRA or one of their agents yet? Perhaps your answers will be found there and not just here say from the likes of me, do yourself and members that courtesy.

Cheers, Steve.

Correct, they will hold your passport for a long time. make sure your Tourist visa is for 6 months to cover the period. Because you cannot renew a tourist visa in the middle of applying for SRRV as you will not have a passport to do so.
