Excuse me for asking but have you been to the Phils, met her and her 'normal surroundings' called home etc?  Why do you suspect a possible scam? You should not empart money without doing your homework first. Don't be rushed into sending money. You can in a lot of circumstances pay by card direct to the educational place if you have insecurities with who you are with. Let your partner show her real personality by asking her for the schoolvto provide a full address and contact details and check it against the Dept Educations list of schools/colleges. If in doubt, leave it out!

How about pictures of her and her classmates in front of and in the school?  Pictures of study material, test results, an address, phone numbers, a web link?

If you have not met her in person or been to the Philippines yourself and you are still sending money with no proof of where it is going then I would suggest that you stop before you're broke.

Why, if she were being honest would she not address your concerns about the legitimacy of the school or where the money is going? Particularly is she is interested in an honest relationship with an intelligent man and not just some easily manipulated chump?

No proof, bye bye.

Best wishes and good luck,

TeeJay

This is the reason why I always remind foreign nationals and locals too, to be careful when interacting with one another and to not easily be trusting especially if it involves money, unless you are sure that the relationship is rock solid (even the platonic ones).

The school hasn't been named yet!

No school registered by the name "Manila School of Accountancy".  Sorry, hope you will be a litle careful next time.

Which part of the Philippines?

Duckiegirl

if you have the name of the person, that can be searched in National Statistics Office, her possible address, relatives.
