buy a local boat

Hey there,
We are Kyra and Robert, two travelers from Switzerland. Since half a year we explore the world by longboard.
Now in Cambodia, where we found a lot of new roads that are not really suitable for skating, we want to go by boat.
In more details: we want to buy a local wooden unmotorized canoe/fishing boat and row with this down Tonle Sap lake/river.

Does anyone here knows someone who would sell us his/a boat?
Or have any kind of advice?

Go to the local port and fishing villages and ask around, speak to the locals they will be able to help you out. Make sure you've got someone to translate for you.
