Hi Friends, I am doing some market research on distributors/availability of mineral water on the island, please provide answers to below
1)聽聽聽 How many brands of bottled mineral water are there on the island
2)聽聽聽 Is that water imported or manufactured locally ( Cost of the bottles)
3)聽聽聽 In case it is imported who is the biggest importer of the same on the island and from which country it is imported.

Brands of bottled mineral water in Mauritius:
Crystal by Phoenix Beverages Company Ltd[Coca Cola]-Island largest soft drink manufacturer-40% of the market
Vital by Quality Beverages Company Ltd [Pepsi Cola]-Island second largest soft drink manufacturer-35% of the market
ValSpring by Vivalo Ltd and Chateau D'Eau Ltd-15% of the market
Ozone by Food Lovers Co.Ltd [Food Lovers Markets-10% of the market

We have only four brands for bottled mineral water manufactured locally for the local market.
Average cost per bottle [1.0 litre] is around MUR 25.00/= inclusive of government of Mauritius environment pet Tax
Imported bottled mineral water are twice the price of the local bottled mineral water for 01 litre.
Mauritian people / Local consumer prefer the mineral bottled locally.
