Hi,

is it popular to share a flat in Addis Ababa ?

What advice would you give to those looking for shared accommodation in Addis Ababa?

Can you recommend specialized local websites or newspapers?

By the way, keep in mind there is a flat share/house share section in the Classifieds

Flat share is not generally common in Addis. However, there is some practice in the international community who come to Addis for short term assignments. Classified sections of newspapers are not commonly advartizing flat shares. The most popupar place to announce your flat share (especially for the expat community is at a notice board of Lime Tree, a cafe/restaurant at Bole Road, Boston Building.
