Their is no maximum age difference between two people when it comes to getting married as long as the two people are doing it for the correct reasons and are happy and in love what dose age matter at the end of the day?. There is 11 years between myself and my partner and I have friends who are married with age gaps of 20 + years again if your happy who cares

Ok many apologies I meant if they want to legally get married in the ministry of justice the age difference could not be more than 25 years.  I saw this but the post was dated in 2011 so I was wondering if this had changed now.

@Ambersuz I have worked and lived in Egypt for over 10 years and I have never heard of anyone having any issues when getting married when it comes to age as long as both parties are of legal age and both understand what they are doing then its down to the couple.

@FAC-Danny-2021 I have just googled again but I am not sure if this applies if of sane mind and possibly no health issues.

1- Marriage contracts are documented through the Ministry of Justice.

2- The husband and wife must be present in person.

3- The presence of two witnesses from the Ministry of Justice and from the spouses' family

4- The age difference between the spouses should not exceed 25 years.
